From heartwarming moments of snuggling baby goats to captivating farm tours, our Farm Store was a vibrant tapestry of flavor and discovery.
The aroma of our exquisite goat milk cheese, yogurt, gelato, caramel, fudge, candies, chocolate milk, and plain goat milk tantalized the senses, while our homemade sourdough breads and baked goods brought comfort and nourishment. Let's not forget the treasured selection of goat milk soaps and other bath & body products that added a touch of luxury to each visit.
We cherish the memories we created during those times, with the help of our dedicated team of full-time and part-time employees. They played a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness, crafting our products, and delivering exceptional service to all our cherished guests. The farm flourished, attracting numerous visitors throughout the year, even earning the opportunity to expand our store and prepare for the exciting launch of our artisan wood-fired pizzas.
However, the unexpected arrival of the pandemic forced us to make difficult decisions, leading to a temporary closure of our farm to visitors. It was a challenging time for us, as we had poured our hearts into building a space of joy and connection. But, as believers in a higher purpose, we realized that this was an opportunity for us to focus on what truly mattered - our extraordinary Goat Milk Soap.
During the pandemic, the importance of hand hygiene skyrocketed, and our Goat Milk Soap became a symbol of care, nourishment, and cleanliness. We dedicated our resources to ensure an abundant supply of this essential product, embracing the opportunity to serve our online customers with utmost dedication and unwavering commitment.
As the world slowly recovers from the pandemic's impact, we have eagerly attempted to reopen the Farm Store and recapture its former glory. However, we must acknowledge the challenges we face in fully restoring the comprehensive on-farm experience we once offered. The demands of our flourishing online soap business have required substantial attention and resources, making it increasingly challenging to maintain the same level of excellence in both spheres.
After careful consideration, we have made the heartfelt decision to conclude operations at the Farm Store. Our doors will remain open until Saturday, July 15, 2023, marking the end of an era. But don't worry, dear friends, for this decision is not one of resignation, but rather a courageous step towards a brighter future.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to share our plans for the farm:
🐐 Group or Private Tours: By appointment, we will continue offering these immersive experiences, allowing you to witness the beauty of our farm firsthand.
🐐 Baby Goat Days: During March, we will open our farm for a couple of weeks to celebrate the pure delight of these adorable baby goats. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
🐐 FFA National Convention Week: From Monday, October 30, 2023 to Saturday, November 4, 2023, we will open our doors for a week to embrace the spirit of this convention and showcase the wonders of our farm.
For those accustomed to picking up orders at the farm, we are pleased to inform you that we will continue providing this service. Simply choose the pickup option on your order, and we will provide detailed instructions in your email.
Our Soaproom is generally open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, with a lunch break around noon. Feel free to drop by during these hours, and we will be delighted to fulfill your "shopping list" if you haven't had the chance to place your order online.
Although this decision was not without its challenges, we are overflowing with excitement about the remarkable opportunities it presents.
